Toronto Marlies are Making the Toronto Maple Leafs Proud

Noel Hoefenmayer

Noel Hoefenmayer has 11 goals and 23 assists for 34 points in 55 games. After spending parts of the past two seasons with the Marlies and playing in the ECHL, this is Hoefenmayer’s first full AHL season. He has made the most of it and even made it to the AHL All-Star game.

William Villeneuve

Willam Villeneuve registered 56 points in 64 games for the Saint John Sea Dogs in the QMJHL last season. He has adjusted to AHL fairly seamlessly, with two goals and 18 assists for 20 points in 45 games for the Marlies. Not bad for his rookie season.

Marshall Rifai

Marshall Rifai took the long road to pro hockey. The 25-year-old spent four years in the NCAA playing for Harvard University. He is in his rookie season with the Toronto Marlies and is doing fairly well. Rifai has four goals and 12 assists for 16 points in 58 games.

Mac Hollowell

Mac Hollowell recorded 13 assists in 18 games for the Marlies before fracturing his kneecap on December 3rd, 2022. He had successful surgery on January 16th, 2023. His recovery time is a minimum of 12 weeks which would be the first week of April. He registered two assists in six games with the Maple Leafs before sustaining the injury against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
