In fact, the last Toronto Maple Leafs player to win an NHL award was Alexander Mogilny in 2003 when he captured the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy.

Of the awards given out in the NHL now, the Toronto Maple Leafs have won a total of 31 awards over eight categories. Mogilny was the last and Joe Primeau was the first when he won the Lady Byng in 1932.

There were five Toronto Maple Leafs that led the NHL in scoring before the Art Ross Trophy was awarded – but no Toronto Maple Leafs player has ever won the award.

1929 – Ace Bailey

1932 – Harvey Jackson

1934 – Charlie Conacher

1935 – Charlie Conacher

1938 – Gordie Drillon
