The Toronto Maple Leafs have had some rough playoff runs over the last 20 years (not winning a single playoff series from 2004-2023 will do that to you).

But even with all the losses, chokes, and yearly disappointments, the Toronto Maple Leafs have managed to put together some fantastic playoff games.

Though they didn’t win, there were great games against Washington, Boston, Montreal, Columbus and Tampa over the last seven years.

And with the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals currently underway and providing some extremely entertaining games, it got me thinking, what are the Leafs’ best playoff games in recent years?

Whether you like them or not, and whether they’ve played well or not, any fan can admit the Toronto Maple Leafs are an entertaining team to watch, especially when the playoffs are around.

Despite the early exits every season, the Leafs have still qualified for the playoffs 7 straight seasons, which is currently tied with Boston for the longest active playoff streak, after the Pittsburgh Penguins failed to make it this year.

This gives us a lot of games to work with, as well as many different Leafs teams.
