The Toronto Maple Leafs will play eight games in February. There is a lower number of games than most months, but the NHL is taking a break between February 12th - 20th for the Four Nations Face-Off. The tournament will feature teams from the United States, Canada, Sweden, and Finland.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will begin the month of February on a four-game road trip. On Saturday, February 1st, the Leafs will be in Edmonton to play Connor McDavid and the Oilers while trying to avoid their fourth loss in a row.

Following the game against the Oilers, the Leafs will have two days off before playing the Calgary Flames on Tuesday, February 4th.

For the third game of the month and third game of their western road trip, the Leafs will fly south to the state of Washington to play the Seattle Kraken on Thursday, February 6th. They will then finish the road trip on Saturday, February 8th against the Vancouver Canucks.

The Toronto Maple Leafs February Outlook: Time to Get Back on Track

During the NHL's Four Nations Face-Off, each team will have a player from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Team Canada will have forward Mitch Marner, Team USA will have forward Auston Matthews, Team Sweden will have forward William Nylander, and Team Finland will have defenseman Jani Hakanpaa. Hakanpaa has been out with an injury but is hoping to return and play in a couple of games during the Leafs four-game road trip before the tournament begins.

The Leafs first game after the Four Nations Face-Off will be on Saturday, February 22nd against the Carolina Hurricanes. It will be the Leafs only home game of the month, and it's the first game of back-to-back games that weekend. The second game of the back-to-back will be against the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday, February 23rd.

On February 25th, the Leafs will be in Boston to play their divisional rivals, the Boston Bruins. This game could mean a lot more for the Bruins than the Leafs. The Bruins are in a weird position of possibly missing the playoffs. They currently (January 30th) hold the first Eastern Conference wild-card spot.

Following two days off, the Leafs will finish their February schedule on Friday, February 28th in New York against the New York Rangers. An original six matchup that never disappoints the viewers.

With the month of February complete, Hopefully, the Leafs will finish in the win collum in the majority of their eight games in February. Maintaining their spot as first in the Atlantic Division would be nice to see.
