The Toronto Maple Leafs are barely three weeks into their off-season and so far it's been a very eventful one.

The Toronto Maple Leafs fired their coach, hired a new coach, got a new Boss, talked vaguely about change, turned "accountability" into a meaningless catchphrase, and their fans tried to run their best player out of town.

But besides that, everthings totally normal!

And by normal we mean that the rumour mill is running 500 miles per hour, which is par for the course.

With that said, here are some of the latest Toronto Maple Leafs Rumours from around the web.

The Toronto Maple Leafs Rumour Roundup

There were rumours that ex-Toronto Maple Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe was going to be hired by the New Jersey Devils, but that actually happened before this article was sent to press.

The main rumour this week was that Mitch Marner would waive his no-trade clause and that he'd be going to Nashville. This rumour started because Jusse Saros is supposedly available, and the Leafs clearly need a goalie.

Things got even more crazy when the Predators trade Ryan McDonugh to the Tampa Bay Lightning and created a ton of capspace. Of course, no one has any clue what Marner will do, and it's likely he won't waive his no-trade clause and doubtful he'll even be asked to do so.

That isn't going to stop the trade rumours though. Even if the reality is that the Leafs haven't engaged in any trade talks involving Marner. And likely won't.

Other rumours I heard this week are that the Leafs are interested in bringing back Max Domi and Tyler Bertuzzi. For the right price, they obviously would consider it, and likely based on what we know about Brad Treliving this seems like it would be true.

Whether it's a good idea is another matter entirely.

I also heard that TJ Brodie isn't coming back, but like the Domi and Bertuzzi stuff, this might not be a rumour and could just be people talking about something that is fairly common sense. It would be surprising if the Leafs didn't try to bring back at least one of Domi and Bertuzzi, and it would be a hundred times more shocking if TJ Brodie actually came back.

Your boy Eklund has Joel Edmundson and Max Domi returning, even though both should not even really be considered for next year's team.

Finally, the last rumour of the day is that Marc Savard will come to the Leafs to coach the power-play after "mutually agreeing to part ways" with the Flames. Stay tuned!
