The historic arena, which once housed the team, was demolished in 1999, but its memory lives on in the hearts of Maple Leafs faithful. The arena’s seats were sold off when it closed, but one of those seats was hotter than the rest.

Jim Vigmond, of Barrie, ON., a lawyer and Maple Leafs fan, paid $5300 to buy one of the toilets out of the Maple Leafs dressing room. He was willing to pay as much as $10,000 for the prized possession but managed to flush his competition at auction.
