The Next Coach and GM

There is a list of names of available coaches, and Spencer Carberry who is currently one of Keefe’s assistant coaches, should be at the top of the list.

Dallas Eakins, former head coach for the Anaheim Ducks, could be a name that is considered. Other coaches like Gerard Gallant and Brad Larsen are available, either coach would bring a different and fresh element to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

There are assistant and associate coaches who are going to get interviews for head coaching jobs, Spencer Carberry, previously mentioned, is likely to get many interviews and offers. Former Florida Panthers interim head coach Andrew Brunette coached Florida to a President’s Trophy. This will make Brunette a popular option.

To end this list of potential options, Jeff Blashill, who is currently an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 2022-23 season was Blashill’s first as an assistant coach, Blashill was previously the head coach for the Detroit Red Wings.

To summarize all of the names on this list of potential candidates for Toronto Maple Leafs head coach, Dallas Eakins, Gerard Gallant, Brad Larsen, Spencer Carberry, Andrew Brunette, and Jeff Blashill.

The coming days will prove if the Toronto Maple Leafs continue to make changes, either to the roster, to the coaching staff, or to the front office.
