On February 7th, 1976, Darryl Sittler set the NHL record for most points in a game when he recorded six goals and four assists for 10 points against the Boston Bruins.
In 1977-78, Sittler recorded the 2nd most single season points by a member of the Maple Leafs with 117. Doug Gilmour had 127 points in 1992-93.
Sittler became captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs after Dave Keon from 1975 to 1981.
Like Dave Keon and Borje Salming, Darryl Sittler has a retired number in the rafters and a statue on Legends Row.
