New Jersey Devils – January 14th

When the New Jersey Devils come to town, they’ll be bringing a new star with them.

The name – Jack Hughes. Even though he’s not the only one to look out for, he’s probably the most exciting to watch. He’s the 2019 first-overall pick, and he’s from Toronto. So, its a big deal.

P.K. Subban will be there too. The star-studded defenseman made his way to New Jersey after being traded this past summer. Subban usually gets a warm welcome from the Toronto crowd when he returns home.

There’s also Connor Carrick. You might be thinking, “Connor Carrick’s one of the reasons why I should watch a Devils game?” And yes, he is. He may not have been the most exciting Leafs player, but he was always a fan favorite, to me at least.

And last but not least, Taylor Hall. Another player who is exciting to watch. Hall is set to be a UFA next year, and as much as I wish the Leafs could make a splash, they can’t and they won’t.

Three of these players have roots in Toronto, which makes it more exciting. But, if you love Carrick, and you want to see Hughes’ first game in Toronto, this is a must see for you.

The Devils are a young and skilled team, which will make it more exciting. It will be close for sure, and like I said before, the crowd will be into it for sure.

And even better, this is one of the cheaper games to go see this season. If you don’t find any of the other games as star-studded as this one, head down to Scotiabank Arena on January 14th.
