The Toronto Maple Leafs have had their fair share of players finding themselves on the injured reserve this season. Whether it had been the star players, such as Auston Matthews, or the role players, such as Max Domi, Max Pacioretty and David Kampf, it has certainly taken a toll on the entire team as a whole.

Miraculously, the Toronto Maple Leafs have somehow managed to maintain their winning ways despite meeting constantly with adversity due to the rash of injuries since the start of the 2024-25 campaign.

In fact, despite missing over more than 160 man games in total due to various ailments that one could imagine, the Leafs still find themselves in first place in the Atlantic Division with an Impressive 26-13-2 record and among the top five in the entire league at the halfway mark of the NHL season.

However, as much as how it has been working out for Craig Berube and the Maple Leafs, they will eventually need some of their key players back and at full health for sustained success for the rest of the season. Otherwise, things could ultimately catch up to them.
