Miller would be acquired as a rental since he will become a UFA this summer. His salary cap hit is $1.85 million, so he would be one of the easier contracts to fit into the Leafs salary cap.

Tyler Toffoli

The Leafs are often linked to Toffoli, and he has a history with Leafs GM Brad Treliving. He has 21 goals and 13 assists for 34 points in 47 games. Toffoli is averaging 17:17 minutes of ice time this season and has a Corsi for percentage of 56.6%, along with 30 hits and six blocked shots.

Toffoli will become a UFA this summer, and with a salary cap hit of $4.25 million, he would be an expensive rental for the Leafs to add. However, he would be a good secondary-scoring addition to add to the Leafs top-six.
