Miroslav Holinka

Miroslav Holinka is a 19-year-old forward who can play center and wing. He is 6'1, 185 pounds, and comes from Kromeriz, Czechia. The Leafs selected him after he registered 20 goals and 21 assists for 41 points in 29 games for HC Ocelari Trinec U20 last season.

Holinka moved to North America in the off-season and is now playing for the Edmonton Oil Kings in the WHL. He has registered 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points in 29 games. Adjusting to playing in North America has not bothered Holinka. He is on pace for 22 goals and 28 assists for 50 points in 54 games. Leafs fans could see Holinka playing for the Toronto Marlies next season if the Leafs sign him by then.

Alexander Plesovskikh

Alexander Plesovskikh is an 18-year-old, left-wing from Tyumen, Russia. He measures in at 6'1, 185 pounds, and is known for his playmaking ability.

The Leafs selected Plesovskikh after he registered just eight goals and nine assists for 17 points in 33 games for Mamonty Yugry in the Russian league MHL.

Plesovskikh has split his time between two MHL teams this season, with most of his time spent with MHK Spartak Moskva. He has registered ten goals and 15 assists for 25 in 37 games for them, while also registering two goals and an assist for three points in two games for MHK Krylia Sovetov Moskva. Overall, he is on pace for 16 goals and 21 assists for 37 points in 52 games. I expect Plesovskikh to stay in Russia until he is signed by the Leafs.
