Status: He should be in his prime, and he should be a full-time top-four players, but even though he has ABSOLUTEY CRUSHED 3rd pairing minutes the last two years, the coach hasn’t trusted him in the playoffs, where he has been mostly healthy-scratched.
Expectations: Just based off of the fact that the coach has never trusted him in important games, very low. Based off what my eyes see and what the stats say, he could be a solid top pairing defender.
Notes: Liljegren is a good defender who can move the puck. He isn’t very physically imposing, but he’s also not a total wallflower.
