Expectations:  Low; to be traded.

Notes: Jarnkrok had a career year last year at age 31.  That is extremely rare, and rarer still would be repeating it.

Jarnkrok can’t be counted on to repeat, and with younger Toronto Maple Leafs demanding ice-time, and the team being over the cap, he is an obvious choice to be moved.

That said, he’s a useful player and his contract has a lower cap hit in exchange for the extra years, which was a smart move by Dubas.

Unlike Kampf, Jarnkrok is actually worth his cap-hit, so the four years for him made sense.
