The Toronto Maple Leafs have a huge following. Being able to watch the team play in person is a thrill. However, many can’t afford to watch them live inside Scotiabank Arena, so they head elsewhere.

Watching Toronto Maple Leafs games at home is nice, but nothing beats watching them at a sports bar with a bunch of friends.

Being in a major city provides many different places to go and watch the games. Which places are the best gets different answers from different people.

A lot goes into picking the best spot for you and your friends, the atmosphere, staff, prices, and quality of food and drinks.

The better these things are, the more likely you will return and recommend them to others. I have my personal favourite, as I’m sure you do too.

With NHL training camp and pre-season only a month away, I thought it would be fun to put together a list of the top five sports bars to watch Leafs games at.

There are a couple of places on the list that I have been to before, some more times than others. There are also a few I’ve never been to but were highly recommended.

Here is a look at the five places which made my list and some details about them you may or may not have known. Hopefully, your favourite place is on this list.
