Rangers vs Devils
Yeah that’s a picture of PK Subban up there, and he’s one of my all-time favourite players, so even though he’s retired we salute him whenever possible.
As for this series, on one hand you have a teamy that added Patrick Kane, and on the other hand you have a team that has Dougie Hamilton and fellow coolest guy in town Jack Hughes (I have so many of his young guns cards it’s amazing), so it’s easy to know who to cheer for.
But who will win?
Well, not the team that added two of the most overrated vets in the league, that’s for sure. I mean, yeah, anything can happen, but the Devils have so many actual star players they might as well call themselves the American Toronto Maple Leafs.
Two elite centres, two elite wingers, maybe the best defenseman alive, and also the greatest uniform in hockey.
Oh, and they are backed by the Dark Lord himself, so crank up some Slayer and put your money on the Devils because they are going to crush the Rangers.
The only chance the Rangers have is if Mike Zibanajad learns how to dream-walk and starts haunting people’s dreams. I am impressed the bad guy from Twin Peaks turned out to also be an NHL star, but the Rangers are going to need more than this modern day Medusa to beat the Devils this year.
