The Toronto Maple Leafs had a great season and will now embark on the playoffs.
It’s been a weird year for the Toronto Maple Leafs because due to all the unlucky playoff results of the last five or so years, there was basically no excitement about the team, despite being one of the best seasons in their hundred-odd years of history.
It’s like people are blase about having two of the best players alive, or adding two of the best ever late-season additions.
But you can’t blame them, this team has really done nothing but let people down.
That is about to change. Or so I predict. But most of my predictions end up being right. So here, for your enjoyment is the correct answers to the questions about who will win in the first round.
I was pretty good in the regular season, going 12 for 16 overall and 7 for 8 in the East.
75% might not sound that good, but when you consider how much parity there is in the NHL, and how every year there is a team that is among the best in the league that misses the playoffs (last year it was Vegas, this year it was Calgary) it’s damn impressive.
Or at least, that’s what I tell myself!
Onward then:
