Team Sweden will be a very talented team with only one thing on their mind, and that is to win the gold medal. Sweden has enough talent to compete for the top spot with Team USA and Team Canada.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander will be joining a talented forward group that will consist of Elias Pettersson, Mika Zibanejad, Gabriel Landeskog, and Nicklas Backstrom.

Sweden will be relying on their speed and skill to win them games. Good thing for them that they have an abundance of it. Nylander was not on the initial training camp invite list for Sweden, but when you look at how well he has played for them in the past, it is hard to see them not having him on their team in February.

He is also having a good start to his NHL season with 11 points in 13 games. Nylander will likely be a major factor for Team Sweden in Beijing and could even be on the top line.

Another player from the Toronto Maple Leafs who might get to play for team Sweden is defenseman Rasmus Sandin. The chances of him making the team are slim, but he has had a good start to his NHL season, and it could be good enough that Sweden gives him a look.

Both Nylander and Sandin have a bright future in the NHL as well as on the international stage. Sweden will be proud of them both.
