First Period

7:00PM: Here we go! Off to a bad start because I could only find a NESN feed, so unfortunately I have to listen to Jack Edwards for the next 3.5 hours. Great…

7:02PM: They just showed highlights of Game 6 and I totally forget they played the game the night before? What a joke. It’s hilarious they didn’t get a rest day in between games. They had a three day break between Game 1 and 2 for goodness sakes. How’d they allow this?

7:05PM: Really wish I could fast-forward right now. The Bruins anthem singer Rene Rancourt makes me want to puke… Kind of regretting this idea.

7:10PM: Puck-drop, baby, let’s do this. Milan Lucic looks like a young Eric Lindros right now, holy smokes. Oh well, Rich Peverely just took a penalty and the Leafs on the power-play.

7:11PM: The Leafs power-play of Phil Kessel, Joffrey Lupul, James van Reimsdyk, Dion Phaneuf and Cody Franson is actually sick.

7:12PM: I might have to watch this on mute. Jack Edwards is losing his mind over Zdeno Chara hitting Kessel and JVR. Relax, Jack.

7:20PM: Ugh, the Bruins get first blood on a brutal goal. Matt Bartkowski fired a wrist-shot from the point which Reimer saw the whole way. Turns out this is the first and only playoff goal Bartkowski ever scored. Of course it is. 1-0 Bruins.

7:25PM: 1-1, baby! Franson scores on the PP with Chara in the penalty box. The Bruins broadcast actually shows the mayhem going on in Toronto at Maple Leafs Square. What a beautiful sight to see.

7:28PM: Colton Orr just crushed Chara into the boards and I keep seeing him on the ice. The fact that he’s playing legitimate minutes in Game 7 of a playoff game is scary. It reminds me of when you play Chel and you accidentally forget to change the fourth line. Get that man off the ice!

7:35PM: For old take sakes, Phaneuf makes a great giveaway that almost turns into a goal, but the period ends 1-1. Alright that wasn’t too bad. Leafs actually out-shot the Bruins and played a great road-playoff period. Onto the Second period we go!
