C; Adam Brooks, 23 5’10, 181, AHL (GP; 19, G; 7, A; 8, PTS;15)
Over this season, we have seen plenty of Marlies being called up to fill in for injuries on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Adam Brooks has been “yo-yo’d” a little bit in the past week, most likely to cap reasons. Nonetheless, Brooks has shown that he has warranted a legitimate look on the Leafs.
Brooks has put up 15 points in 19 games, showing that he has taken another step forward in his development.
Brooks is now playing on the Marlies top line, having worked all the way up from being a regular 4th liner in his rookie AHL season.
From putting up 40 points in 61 games to posting 15 points in 19 games this season, Brooks has worked his way into the Leafs potential future plans.
Due to Brooks being a center, he has a shot to make the Leafs but his ceiling is limited at this point in time.
