The moment it was announced that the Toronto Maple Leafs  had fired Mike Babcock and hired Sheldon Keefe, it was as if a dark cloud had disappeared.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have benefited greatly from this decision, going 11-4-0 in that span.

The Toronto Marlies have had to adjust due to this change and as a result, their record has taken a bit of a hit.

The Marlies went into the middle of November still without a regulation loss.
