Mikko Kokkonen
Drafted – 2019, Round 3, #84
Age-18, Left handed Defenceman, 5’11, 198lbs

Mikko Kokkenen has finally broken his point scoring drought, notching his first assist in his 12th game of the season. He now has 2 points (1-1-2) in 18 games played with Jukurit.

Alongside him finding his feet, he is finally being given some improved ice-time over the past month. His ATOI has improved by a minute each month, with him playing just under 20 minutes a night so far for December.

Kokkenen, while playing on what is a truly awful team, and on his opposite side, is being relied on heavily by Jukurit.

Whilst he is being heavily outshot and slightly outscored, the usage he is being given is very positive for his development and it seems very likely he will spend time with the Toronto Marlies at the very least in the coming years.

Martins Dzierkals
Drafted – 2015, Round 3, #68
Age-22, Winger, 5’11, 170lbs

Martins Dzierkals has been injured for the entirety of the last month and hasn’t appeared for Jukurit since the first of November. As previously mentioned, there is honestly no real loss for the Toronto Maple Leafs organization here.

Considering Dzierkals history with the Toronto Maple Leafs organization there is very little to write about here, he is still a Maple Leafs prospect officially, yet may as well not be.
