Third Line

Moore-Kadri-Brown

Now, this Toronto Maple Leafs line is where it can get interesting.

Now, no one is saying Marleau is a bad player, but given the way he played in the postseason, he is clearly not a top line player.

He should not be playing on a line which sees a large amount of ice-time, especially in the last year of his contract, Now, assuming both Brown and Kadri are here next fall, Moore would be a nice addition on that third line. His addition would give that line a little more speed, which combines well with the hustle present in Kadri and Brown.

That is, if the Toronto Maple Leafs decide to keep him.

This is the second postseason in a row that Kadri has received a suspension, and his antics have definitely raised some eyebrows. If Kadri hadn’t been suspended, chances are the Leafs may have eliminated the Bruins and would still be playing hockey today. But, the season ended, and one of the major reasons why is because the Leafs were down one of their main centreman who could play big minutes, and had to resort to playing their fourth line for longer than needed.

After this season, it’s about time to ask: Was this the last season Kadri suits up for the Leafs?
