Toronto Maple Leafs Roundtable: Disappointment or Success

Well, the Toronto Maple Leafs have played their last hockey game until September.

In the aftermath of yet another crushing game seven loss to the Boston Bruins, it’s easy to throw up our hands and declare this whole season a failure. Holding the lead three separate times in an elimination game should be enough to squeak out a win.

Although, should we consider a season where the Leafs set multiple franchise records a failure? Heart-wrenching ending aside, wasn’t the ride we just finished a fun one?

Well, that question is the one the EIL staff attempted to answer this week.
