Aside from his success at Boston College this year, he was also an asset for the United States world junior team and helped the US claim the bronze medal. Perhaps, it won’t be long before he takes his talents to the Toronto Marlies for further development. Then, after that, who knows? Perhaps one day his the successor to Frederik Andersen.
Taking on Boston University
Woll has a tough semi-final matchup against Boston University on Friday night at Boston’s TD Garden. He’ll be facing a number of top NHL prospects including Dante Fabbro of the Nashville Predators, Jordan Greenway of the Minnesota Wild, Brady Tkachuk (draft eligible) and Jake Oettinger of the Dallas Stars.
Woll will likely be on his toes the whole night as Boston University has been an offensive powerhouse this season. In 19 games, they have scored a total of 112 goals. He’ll have his work cut out for him as Boston College looks to go back to the finals and the NCAA men’s ice hockey championship.
