The Toronto Maple Leafs individual point projection totals look confusing.
I mean no offense to what I’m about to say, but I remember a time in the not so distant past where the only talkable player on the Toronto Maple Leafs roster was P.A. Parenteau.
Look, I know that individual points and accolades are not what this team is about, but I’ll never completely disregard how many points a player puts up.
The Leafs finally have more than one or two players throughout the lineup that are capable of 75+ points in a season, despite what these projections tell you.
And a side note about that, these projections are probably going to be way off, but this is what the math is telling me right now.
Anyways, think about how many players had over 60 points last season, it’s quite remarkable, so let’s hope for better this year.
What I’m not going to do (in this article, it’ll come at a later date) is speculate as to who might be in the trophy talk for the end of the year awards.
However, I will say that there might be more than one Leaf in that discussion, but I’m saving it for later as I said.
I’ll plan for that around American Thanksgiving.

I’m going to break this down into three different groups, just to simplify things and another note is that we’re not going to be counting players that are being sent down and being brought back up on a regular basis, such as Josh Leivo and Kasperi Kapanen.
Good?
Good.
Another thing worth noting is that I’ll include the breakdown of goals and assists (totals will be rounded up – some might be off by a point) for the players in the 36 point projection range and up, excluding the 0-35 group.
Remember, this is all just math and I’ll remind you at the end of the article as well because I see future hate messages coming my way based off of incorrect information and I just want my full disclosure out there.

Let’s just remember that this is in no way shape or form going to be even remotely accurate, this is simply math based on their current numbers.
That’s it, none of this is opinion based, just what the numbers come out to and with that being said, let’s take some bets here, who’s going to hit their numbers above?
Let me know.
