For Toronto Maple Leafs fans, June is the most exciting month in the NHL calendar.

The NHL playoffs are in full swing, the Draft Combine is completed while fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs are counting down the days to the Expansion draft, the Entry Draft and Free Agency.

While we await  the announcement of the player we will lose to the Golden Knights, fans are constantly looking for inside information and trade rumors.

As a result of the Toronto Maple Leafs needing upgrades to their defensive and centre depth, the questions continue.

  • Will Lamoriello find a trade partner?
  • Can the Leafs take advantage of another teams Cap issues?
  • Is an offer sheet possible?
  • Who are the best free agent fits for the Leafs?
  • Who will the Leafs draft at 17?
  • is it possible the Buds stay the course and promote from within for their defensive needs?

If you the reader could make one “add” to the Leafs this off-season what would you do?

  • A defenceman,  a forward, a goalie or an offer sheet? Remember, just one move!

Please send me your thoughts in the comments section or by twitter.

The only thing better than this time of year for a Toronto maple Leafs fan is talking about the Leafs!
