4. Tyler Bozak v. Florida Panthers
I don’t know if he meant to do this, I doubt it. Nevertheless, it’s a goal and by far his best of his this year. Lucky or not, it’s quite pretty and should’ve made more highlight reels.
The puck is fired towards the net from the point with the hope of it being redirected. So, Bozak gets his stick on it and the puck flies up and over everyone including Luongo.
Boom, it’s in the back of the net. I don’t think that I’ve ever seen a deflection quite like this one. Just the way it streaks over everyone and like Jeff said, a rainbow deflection is just a beautiful sight. Whether it was intentional or not, it doesn’t matter. It happened, it went it.
