We all know that the Toronto Maple Leafs playoff chances are all but over. However, when you look at the Atlantic Division standings, you can see just how bleak the situation is.

The Leafs sit at 48 points currently. That is 20 points behind the division leader and 19 points behind the second and third place teams. Even the first wild card team is 13 points ahead of them.

What lies ahead for the Leafs? We all know they have fallen down the standings, but just how far?
