Florida Panthers – 6th Atlantic

The Panthers went 2-1-1 during the week to stay above the Ottawa Senators and in 6th place in the Atlantic.

The Panthers are an average hockey team getting average results this year. The fact that they aren’t in the very bottom of the division is being viewed as a victory for the team right now as they continue to rebuild.

By no means are the Panthers a legitimate threat in the Atlantic Division, but they are putting together a season that won’t require paper bags with eyes cut out. Roberto Luongo has been stopping pucks as usual in South Florida and giving the six or seven fans in attendance something to cheer about.
