Tampa Bay Lightning – 1st Atlantic

The Lightning went 2-1-1 during their four games this week, suffering losses to the Sabres and Blue Jackets which left them narrowly ahead of Detroit for the first spot in the Atlantic Division.

Tampa had a great opportunity to pull away from the pack this week but failed to get the extra points required, which proved costly because the Wings have played so well.

The Lightning offense was hot and cold, lighting the lamp 6 times, then once, then five times, then once again. Tampa will need to find some consistency in their game if they want to stay on top of the Atlantic. There are teams below them that are hot on the chase and aren’t going to hand the division to them.
