Buffalo Sabres – 8th Atlantic Division
The Buffalo Sabres, or Connor McDavid’s biggest fan as they could be called, are doing everything they can to land the top selection in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
The Sabres are 3-11-2 to start the year and have allowed a league-high 54 goals against.
This past week Buffalo lost a 2-1 shootout game against Montreal and suffered a 3-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers before becoming the next contestant on the Sidney Crosby Show in a 6-1 defeat.
Drew Stafford scored two of the Sabres four goals for the week and Zemgus Girgensons added a goal and an assist for the lone bright spots of the week.
There are zero signs of anything turning around in Buffalo right now but with Connor McDavid in their sights it shouldn’t be too upsetting.
