Mikhail Grabovski will not receive a suspension for an alleged biting incident in the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-0 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night. The National Hockey League determined that they could not prove if Grabovski actually bit Montreal forward Max Pacioretty. The hearing was held over the phone earlier today after it was postponed on Sunday.

The issue took place in the third period during a scrum when Pacioretty’s bare hand made contact with Grabovski’s face. Pacioretty was adamant that he was bitten and even got a tetanus shot after as a precaution. Both players received 10-minute misconducts after the confrontation.

Since Grabovski was not suspended he will be in the line-up tonight when the Leafs take on the Philadelphia Flyers at the Air Canada Centre. Toronto will be looking to win their fourth straight game for the first time in over a year. Luke Schenn will make his return after being traded to Philadelphia in the off-season for James van Riemsdyk. So far the trade has worked out well for Toronto as van Riemsdyk currently leads the team in goals with seven. The Leafs have struggled recently against the Flyers losing five straight and nine of their last 10.
