There have been enough previews about the upcoming Toronto Maple Leafs season, so there’s no point in writing another one. Instead, how about some bold predications for the season.

At this point everyone knows enough about who will be on the Maple Leafs and what to expect from them. We know what are the expectations from guys like Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, and William Nylander. Nonetheless, with the season about to get underway, there are so many directions to go for bold predictions.

After the way the team was constructed last season, everyone could predict a 30th place finish for the Maple Leafs. However, this season could be a lot different. From the kids that will be on this team to some of the managerial moves the front office will make. Making predications for this team will take a lot more thinking rather than just saying this team will be bad and will finish at the bottom.

Now without further ado here are five bold predications for the 2016-2017 Maple Leafs season.
