The Toronto Maple Leafs said goodbye to free-agent centreman Dave Bolland as he signed a five-year, $27.5-million contract with the Florida Panthers. The Leafs were smart to let Bolland walk for that kind of money, but there’s no denying they probably need to add one more centre to go along with a pretty subpar group in Tyler Bozak, Nazem Kadri and Peter Holland.

The first day of NHL free agency was pretty busy with 86 players inking new contracts. But that doesn’t mean all of the good options at centre are taken already. Here are five players the Leafs might want to consider adding in the coming days.
