Who’s hot, who’s not: Brandon Pirri has five points in his last five games, Jake Gardiner has seven in his last eight appearances. On the flip side, Tomas Fleischmann has zero points in his last 11 games and Nazem Kadri has four in his last 12.

Florida’s leading scorer Scottie Upshall is on track to break an NHL record. His 37 points is two fewer than Scott Pellerin‘s 39 with the Minnesota Wild in the 2000-2001 season, meaning that unless he ties or exceeds that total he will be the lowest scoring player to ever lead a team in points over the course of an 82-game season in the NHL.
