The clock is winding down on a once promising Toronto Maple Leafs season. After being firmly cemented in a playoff spot two weeks ago, the Leafs have experienced their third collapse of epic proportions in as many seasons. In 2012 it was a seventeen game stretch through which the Leafs earned six points, in 2013 it was game seven in Boston, in 2014 it is seven straight regulation losses at the worst possible time.

    what is worse, last year’s game 7 or this season’s 8 game skid?

      Last year’s collapse was worse but the 8 game skid was more drawn out, making it feel worse. Game 7 was like ripping off a band-aid.
