Well, there’s not much that needs to be said to hype up tonight’s game.

It’s Saturday Night. Hockey Night In Canada. The Toronto Maple Leafs face off against their heated rivals, the Montreal Canadiens. On top of that, this game has massive playoff implications for both teams. Barring any playoff match-up, this will be the final time the two teams play each other this season.

The Canadiens currently sit third in the Atlantic division with 83 points with the Leafs three points behind them with 80 points. The Leafs currently hold the first wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. If the Leafs want to avoid a match-up with the Pittsburgh Penguins or the Boston Bruins, a win in regulation tonight will go a long way to accomplishing that.

The Leafs look to be getting one player back from injury as Dave Bolland looks to return to the Leafs lineup for the first time since November 2, 2013. If he can get back to the way he was playing before the injury, he will help stop the three-game losing streak the Leafs are currently on.
