The Leafs head back into Toronto after last night’s game to meet the Tampa Bay Lightning for the third of four games played between the two teams this season. The Lightning have won three games in a row, Steven Stamkos‘ return no doubt helping to precipitate that streak. James Reimer is expected to make his second start in as many nights, the first time a Toronto goalie has made both starts in a double-header. After Randy Carlyle described Reimer’s Detroit performance as “just okay” the goalie will surely be looking to get back into his coach’s good books. With Tampa holding two games in hand and a one point lead, this is a must-win for Toronto as they don’t want to finish in a wildcard spot and have Boston as first round opposition- that is if the they can make the playoffs at all.
