Who: Toronto Maple Leafs (36-24-8) @ Washington Capitals (31-27-10)

Where: Verizon Center, Washington DC.

When: 3:00 PM EST (why don’t I get any prime time games?)

Where to watch: Sportsnet Ontario, Comcast (USA)

Where to listen: Sportsnet 590,  Capitals Radio Network (USA)

Finally back in the east coast the Leafs are set for a midday match up against the Washington Capitals. Unfortunately they will be without their starter, as Bernier suffered a “lower body” injury against LA earlier in the week. A more than capable backup, Reimer will be starting his third in six games, something that has recently become a rarity for him so look for him to avenge his loss to the Sharks (where the Leafs were drastically outshot… again).

Former Leaf alternate  captain and the man who stole my heart Mikhail Grabovski is considered day-to-day with an ankle injury suffered on the 24th of January and seemingly aggravated a month later, so don’t expect him to be in the lineup.

The Capitals are about to embark on a Californian road trip similar to that the Leafs stole two wins from, they will undoubtedly be emphasizing the two points up for grabs tonight.
