We now interrupt your regularly scheduled trade deadline speculation to talk about a hockey game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Blue Jackets sit three points back of the second wild-card spot, and seven points back of the Leafs, who are currently the first wild-card team. The Jackets beat the Florida Panthers 6-3 on Saturday, but lost three games before that.

The Leafs have lost their last two games in extra time, including a 4-3 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. However, they’ve won their last seven games at home. This game will have plenty of playoff implications for both teams.

Fun first period. Leafs had the majority of chances and a couple really good ones. Reimer looked good in the rare times he was tested. Still scoreless.
