Toronto Maple Leafs Daily Poll: Will The Leafs Make A Trade Before The Deadline?

The Toronto Maple Leafs will have decisions to make after the Olympic Break. Dave Bolland and Trevor Smith should be ready to return from injury. That means money will be added to the total salaryand the Leafs are already pretty close to that salary cap.

While the Leafs could just simply send certain players to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL to get under the cap, but a more permanent fix might be made. Of course, that means a trade.

More than a few Leafs have had their name bandied about in trade talk. Nikolai Kulemin, Nazem Kadri, Jake Gardiner, Cody Franson and Carl Gunnarsson have been the names that have been heard the most.

Kadri seems to have played his way out of talk and Gardiner seems to have done the same. Gunnarsson seems too be the least likely to be moved and Franson would only be moved if the Leafs were wowed by the return. That just leaves Kulemin.

Kulemin is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season and there have been no talks of reports that they are negotiating a new deal. With that, Kulemin is the most likely to be moved of all the Leafs.
