Notes:

- Peter Holland draws back into the lineup with Joffrey Lupul out of the lineup.

- The last time the Leafs faced the Penguins, it was after a loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Leafs won that game. Hopefully that result can be repeated.

- David Clarkson and Jay McClement will once again be tasked with shutting down Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. If they can do that, the Leafs have a chance.

- Again with Clarkson,  after a really slow start to his season, he has four points in the last six games.

- If Toronto wins, they will tie Tampa Bay for second in the Atlantic Division.
