Leafs Recall Colborne

The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled Joe Colborne for tonight’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers at the Air Canada Centre. The move is more of a precautionary measure as Frazer McLaren has been dealing with the flu. McLaren did skate this morning, however, so it remains unclear if Colborne will indeed see action tonight.

Colborne is currently second in scoring down with the Toronto Marlies as he has recorded 14 goals and 42 points in 65 games on the season. After getting off to a slow start to the campaign with only 10 points in his first 28 contests, Colborne has really picked it up and has almost been a point-per-game player ever since.

In other gameday news from Jonas Siegel of TSN, Clarke MacArthur and Leo Komarov will not play tonight as they are still not ready to return from injuries. Newly acquired Ryan O’Byrne is supposed to arrive in Toronto today and Randy Carlyle is unsure if he will play tonight.
