Khudobin Likely To Start Against Leafs Tonight

The Toronto Maple Leafs won’t have to face one of the many emerging stars the Boston Bruins have taken from them via trade in recent years. Tuukka Rask will get the night off as Anton Khudobin was first to leave the ice at the morning skate. This normally would have come as welcome news to the Leafs as Rask has gotten off to great start in 2013, however, the Finnish netminder has struggled in his last two games with no wins, a .846 save percentage and a 4.00 goals against.

Khudobin has played sparingly in 2013, but still owns a solid 3-1 record. This will be Khudobin’s first career appearance against Toronto.

The Leafs will likely be without Matt Frattin once again as his knee is just not quite ready to go yet. He is very close to a return though.
