Gardiner is the present and future of the Maple Leafs blue line and it appears as though he has a concussion.  The Maple Leafs organization needs to take every precaution necessary to ensure that this isn’t a lingering issue.

The biggest thing I took from this was the fact that Morgan Rielly is not in play as the WHL trade deadline approaches.  Teams are fearful that if the NHL lockout ends Rielly will be playing with the Maple Leafs, which is diminishing his trade value.
